The Village Hall, a Methodist chapel until 1965, which reports to and is owned by the church, is the focal point of village activity; comprising a fortnightly morning market, nativity play, quiz shows and celebrations such as wedding receptions.
A monthly village magazine, composed by one village stalwart, carrying church news, has a circulation of 130 and popular appeal.
The village has one pub - the Plough and Harrow - especially renowned for its hospitality at Christmas carol time!
