Special Events

From time to time we hold special events in St. Mary's church. Among them are: Art Exhibitions; the Flower Festival and Fete; Concerts and a wide range of special services such as Taize; Wholeness and Healing; Choral Evensong and Songs of Praise.

Other events include: the Parish Picnic; Parish Christmas Party; Lent Course; Young People's Easter and Harvest Workshops and the Christmas Fair.

3^rd February - Coach trip to see Peter Pan on Ice at the Marlowe, £33

10^th March - Quiz Night. Spring clean your brains!

7^th April - Easter Bonnet and Scarecrow Competition with Country Market

21^st April - Spring Concert - St Mary's Church

1^st May – Coach Trip to see Guy’s and Doll’s at the Marlowe, £26

19^th May – Tug of War and Country Market on the Recreation Ground.

2nd June - Teddy Bears' Abseiling and Picnic

23^rd June – Coach trip to join a Private Cruise with 3 courses Lunch on the Regents Canal, cruising along a most beautiful section of the canal, through London Zoo passing Regents Park and Little Venice - £50

14^th July – our fantastic Garden Fete with Art Festival and Flower Festival (50th year!) from the 12^th – 15^th July

18^th August - Music in the Aumbry Garden - "Brass on the Grass"

8^th September - Penshurst Place and Craft Fair

14^th September - Coach to the Marlowe - "Mouse Trap" (60th Anniversary Tour)

13^th October - Harvest Concert - St Mary's Church

10^th November - Coach to the Marlowe - Ballet "Beauty and the Beast"

24^th November - Christmas Market

December (TBA) - Winter Concert - St Mary's Church

19^th January 2013 - Coach to the Marlowe Pantomime - "Sleeping Beauty"
